We loved garden cottage, it was perfect for our little dachshund with a big hill right on the doorstep. We will definitely be recommending to our family and friends!

Hawkshead Hideaway is the perfect location for enjoying the most stunning walks around Coniston, Ambleside and Grasmere. We were so lucky with the weather we were out every day! The cottage was perfect, and what a lovely surprise to find local jam, bread, biscuits and milk ready for our arrival. The walk to Esthwaite was the ideal inspiration for my own writing; sitting on the edge of the lake where Wordsworth wrote “the curling waves , that break against the shore shall lull thy mind”
A wonderful stay at Dell Cottage. So peaceful and quiet and thoughtful details throughout. Immaculately clean and a lovely fire set up for us to light on our first night. In the middle of the most tranquil countryside and the comfiest bed with the best views! We can’t wait to come and stay again.
Wonderful stay at Wendin Cottage . Every detail thought of , and though small it is ideal for 2 . Great location for walks & getting into Ambleside- whilst very quiet .
