Just off a quiet Bowness side street, you’ll find the modern warmth of Sheila’s Cottage. A 2 bedroom home with plenty of room for a family, or group of friends, to gather and enjoy some of the lively sights in the nearby village or, head down to the lake, just 20 minutes walk down the hill.
The lounge has a lovely big corner sofa to spread out on and relax after a day out. The kitchen is a bright open space to cook and share meals together and, on sunny days, there’s a private patio area with garden furniture for some evening drinks.
Upstairs are two bedrooms – a double with a solid wood bed, en-suite bathroom, bedside draws, wardrobe, and a dressing area with a table and mirror. The other can be set up as either a twin or super-king double, with clothes storage. Also on this upper floor, you’ll find the shower room with a walk-in shower, WC, and wash basin.
In a quiet street close to the attractions of Bowness
Being off the main road down into Bowness, you’re never far from the village’s attraction. The Royalty cinema is just around the corner. Base Pizza is a 5 minute walk away. The Picnic Cabin is a great place to pick up packed lunch supplies if you’re heading out for the day. Then, of course, there’s Lake Windermere and the Windermere Lake Cruises and Windermere Boat Hire to get you out on the water. All within 10 minutes of the front door!
