Pavement Cottage is a beautiful Victorian retreat enjoying a prime location in the heart of the popular village of Ambleside. Set in a quiet side lane with amenities just around the corner, Pavement Cottage was once the ‘bottling house’ of Ambleside’s Jackson Brewery. Carefully and successfully transformed into a stylish 21st-century holiday home and spread over 3 floors, Pavement Cottage provides superb facilities for a group of friends or family’s relaxing Lakeland break, whatever time of year you choose to visit.

If you want an authentic cottage which is cosy, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, then this is the cottage for you. Absolutely delightful. Close to Ambleside centre but on a lovely quiet little lane and within easy walking distance of some of the local beauty spots including Stock Ghyll Waterfall – stunningly beautiful – Rydal Cave – eerily pre-historic, but fabulous – and of course Waterhead Pier where you catch all the ferries for the Lake tours. Perfect.
Great Central location in Ambleside access to shops, bars, and restaurants. The cottage is on a side street though so nice and quiet. If you want to stay in the cottage has everything you need for cooking and staying in. Additionally, nice touches like tea thermos flasks plus lots of maps for your walks.
