Osprey is one of 6 brand new studio apartments in the heart of Bowness on Windermere, named after the original builder and his beloved Steam Boats which sailed on Lake Windermere.
Bowness is an eclectic mix for all tourists having gently strolls to the lake in 10 minutes, small hikes from the door up Brantfell and School Knott and a variety of restaurants from Henrock by Simon Rogan, Gilpin Spice and the family-run Brown Horse at Winster just a 10-minute drive away. Osprey has the added benefit of a private parking space making it a perfect location to explore by car or foot.
Osprey is entered via the stylish external staircase up to the 1st floor and opens into a handy porch area for all your walking essentials to be stored.
The open-plan studio features an immaculate kitchen, with a breakfast bar and a separate dining area. The main lounge area has a large corner sofa with a smart TV. Nestled in a cosy area at the far end of the apartment, you’ll find a deep filled king-size bed and en-suite shower room with slate tiles.

Respond to Osprey
Osprey is a lovely flat, extremely well appointed and beautifully decorated. It had everything we wanted and its location is perfect for both walking into Bowness and to Windermere. We used the open-top bus to get around and there are stops only one block from the flat. There are numerous places to eat in the local area and we can especially recommend ‘Hooked’ on Ellerthwaite Square, Windermere, if you are a seafood lover. We were blessed with some really fine weather so our mini-break staying in Osprey turned out to be a blissful holiday for us.
Incredible place, great location, could not fault it. Anyone that stays there is incredibly luckily.
