Deluxe Accommodation With Spacious Living Areas and Beautiful Private Bedroom Suites

Located at the top of the sweeping drive, enter Beech Rock through a spacious hallway where you’ll find bench seating, perfect for perching on whilst donning on and off your boots and two designer easy chairs with a coffee table.

The wonderful open-plan living area, with corner set wood burning stove, large SMART TV and basic Sky package, flows effortlessly into the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, the perfect entertaining space.

When our Lakeland weather will allow, wander out onto the extensive glass-fronted terrace a calming and comfortable place to sit at any time of the day, the deep-cushioned sofas and chairs allowing you to instantly relax and enjoy the beautifully manicured lawns, fringed with ornate shrubs and colourful planting.

The first of five individual bedroom suites lies at the end of the hallway, ideal for those who struggle with stairs – it has an en-suite wet room and patio doors giving way to the side terrace and hot tub area.

The first floor is a ‘no shoe and no pet zone’ and has an extensive galleried landing area with full height windows and striking light fitting leading to a family bathroom with a freestanding bath, perfect for a long soak after a long day. There are four more bedroom suites on this floor, three Super Kings each with Juliette balcony, private dressing room and en-suite shower and one twin, again with an en-suite shower room.  All of the bedrooms are individually styled with small, subtle differences in the décor to make them all a little unique.  All of the bedrooms are equipped with deluxe pillow bedsteads, Visprung mattresses and are dressed in cool, crisp luxury linens.

Outside, the extensive glass-fronted terrace has ample seating for all of your party and tucked around to the rear and under the shade of the trees is the large hot tub*, yours exclusively for the duration of your stay.

Parking is on the driveway for four cars.  Please note: the drive is very steep so do take care in wet and cold weather.

*Please ensure you read and digest the health and safety information before using the hot tub.

    This August my family and I had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Beech Rock house in Bowness. The location was absolutely stunning, a calm oasis but still within easy reach of the town centre.
    We enjoyed several walks to local view points from the house which were suitable for both my parents and young children.
    The house itself was a luxurious restful delight and we all looked forward to coming back and relaxing after a day out and indeed on rainy afternoons it was nice to have an excuse to stay in and enjoy the house. Everything has been finished to a high standard and every effort was made to ensure we had a stress free break.
    The lakeland retreat team were extremely helpful and when we needed anything (which was not often) they attended to it immediately.
    The hot tub was a welcome treat and attended to twice daily which was reassuring.
    We would love to stay again and hope to do so in the future.
