  • Lore says:

    Lovely house with great views!

  • Gemma says:

We had a really lovely week staying Ambleside, we felt central to all the lakes and enjoyed being based in Ambleside. The property is off the centre up a steep hill but this only added to they experience as the views were absolutely beautiful across Windermere. The property and garden is well maintained, well furnished and equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We traveled as a family of 6 with a 13 yr, 12 yr, 9yr and 4 month old, We had plenty of space for all of us and a lovely communal living area downstairs. We completely fell in love with Cumbria and hope to go back very soon and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here or another property managed by Lakeland Retreats again. Michelle and her team were a dream to communicate with and are truly interested in their visitors experiences.

  • Anna says:

Fantastic house, really light, spacious and clean, stunning views of Windermere and the surrounding hills and mountains. Very conveniently placed a few mins walk into the lovely town of Ambleside. Despite the weather we had a lovely time, took a walk with our three children to Galleny Force on a dry day, absolutely beautiful. Beatrix Potter’s house is a great trip out on a rainy day. High recommend this lovely house.
